Process

Sell-side engagements typically begin with a market assessment and indicative valuation, followed by buyer identification, marketing materials, process management, diligence response, and negotiation support through close.

Buy-side engagements move through opportunity assessment, financial modeling and valuation, diligence coordination, structuring analysis, and negotiation. We do not represent both sides of a transaction.

Our transaction work spans the sectors where closely held businesses change hands — professional services, healthcare, business services, consumer, technology, and industrials among them. The firm's principal has led acquisitions and partnership transactions as a corporate acquirer, working directly with founders through evaluation, diligence, structuring, and close — experience that informs both sides of every engagement.

Working with counsel

Transactions reach better outcomes when financial and legal advisors operate as a coordinated team. We work alongside the client's chosen counsel and tax advisors throughout the engagement, with explicit attention to where our work supports theirs and where the boundary lies. Where a client does not yet have counsel in place, we are happy to make introductions.
